Cutting the Stems wins Markham Translation Prize!
After 15 years on this project, my French to English translation of Virginie Lalucq's book Cutting the Stems (Couper les Tiges) has found a home. The work was speeded along in its final stages with the help of co-translator and native speaker Celine Bourhis. We are thrilled to have won the Melinda A. Markham Translation Prize. The book is forthcoming from Saturnalia Books in Fall 2013.
